I have a Stag Arms STAG-15 Ris Carbine and i was wondering if this 6.03mm tight Bore Inner AEG Barrel. (363mm) would fit in it just fine, and also if the hop-up i have now would work with it. or should i upgrade that too

also would it be easy to install, and how much of a step up will it be from the stock?

Are you positive you have the full length M4 and not the Commando (CQB) version of this gun? Is this the plastic or full metal receiver version? If you have the standard version, then yes, your 363 tightbore should fit it barring it being a weird barrel designed for something specific. Full length M4 takes the 363mm while the CQB version takes a 300mm I believe.

If indeed you have the plastic version of this gun, then the hopup will be a two piece. I'm not aware of any two piece hop up available that would give you a performance boost. Best bet is a tightbore as well as a new bucking. I've personally had good experience with Madbull.

The install on this is super easy. Do a search on youtube and checkout mechbox.com for some videos on how to do this. Good luck!

i measured the gun and its roughly 82cm, idk if that answers the question of is it the cqb version or not? im not totally sure i bought it second hand. the front assembly seems to be metal, loose, but metal.
for the bucking, would that increase performance? would it be compatible with the gun, and will the barrel fit with it? (and the gun)

If you check out airsoft gi and go to the echo 1 section and compare the regular M4 to the Commando version, you'll be able to tell which one you have by the length of the front end portion of the barrel.

You probably have the plastic version if your experiencing that barrel wobble. Not sure if the metal M4s from Echo 1 actually use a two piece or one piece hop up. If its a one piece, then there are several hop ups out there that may give you better performance. A different bucking should give you tighter groupings and possibly some slight increase in FPS depending on your stock compression. The 363 barrel should fit so long as you don't have the CQB version of this weapon. Most buckings will be compatible though some may need to be trimmed slightly on the end to fit, such as the Madbull bucking I installed on my M4.

363 will fet.

The stock hop up is great maybe replace the bucking with a nice systema standard one.

if its the full size ar15 then 363. if its the cqbr commando version its 300.

and yes, agreed with raider, the stock echo1/jg/tm hop is fuckin insanity...but a new bucking would never hurt (systema/prometheus)
