I am thinking about getting this gun, found on Evike for $600 and on another site for $500. This would be my first airsoft gun and I want to get one that calls to me but will also last me a while, so I dont mind the price tag so much. But is it worth it? Any help would be appreciated!:)

Heres the quick answer.
No.
Heres the longer answer.
First airsoft guns should be cheap and simple, they should be medium sized to small sized to ensure that youll be able to use them, large rifles in the hands of someone who stands not much taller than 5 ft quickly becomes a poor affair for instance. A G&P gun is less reliable then what a lot of the market has to offer, and honestly evike is ripping you off in the first place to ask so much. I suggest searching the internet for something in the 100-200 dollar range, theres plenty of reviews of Dboys, JG, and CYMA guns out there. We ask that our members use the internet instead of asking for the opinions of others.
This thread is closed by principle alone, I should also note the review section is for reviewing of products, not asking questions.
PS A fellow airsmith is currently working on one these guns, and he can attest its a piece of junk, considering the gearbox split and it wasn't even cold.
