What is your opinion on G&G's SR-25? Do you think it is a good gun? Is it accurate, reliable, and can it shoot a far distance? Do you think it out performs the TM M14?

well ive heard bad things about the barrel, my friend had one and it would crack the bb inside and if it didnt the accuracy was piss poor
My friend had one, I've used it extensively. Came stock shooting 400. It wasn't a laser but it was pretty good for a stock gun. I would recommend a new barrel, a Harris bipod for sure, an adjustable magnification scope of some sort, a 9.6v battery for it, a M130 and maybe some hi tourqe gears if you go higher than M130.

I had an A&K sr-25, chronoed at 430 fps out of the box. One of the best guns ive ever had out of the box.
Not to sure on the G&G tho, just my .02
Its a really nice gun, the externals make your mouth water. Performance wise it is pretty decent out of the box, my ex-team mate's could probably hit a man sized target at 170 ft.

Ive dealt with a lemon G&G SR25, not a fun gun to fix on a small budget.
Compared to the TM M14 (as you mentioned in the first post), it the G&G won't be nearly as reliable- of course...were talking about TM here.
The G&G's externals are beautiful, and the little feature with the bolt is nice to boot.
If you want a good SWS platform, you aren't going to go wrong with either.and Just understand you got a looooooong way to go with upgrading : )

Personally i would prefer the M14 because of the V7 gearbox which is stronger than the version 2 on an SR-25. Both are good platforms tho and there is a review on ASR.
