whateva you want son, we aint your mothers, I would advise a TM, if you can't offord that, then UTG, though if ya ask me, if you can't offord a stock TM, what the heck are you doing here?...just my view.

C'mon Matchgrade, I'd give him an aluminum AEP barrel to blow them through *grin*

TM makes the best starter guns. Easy maitenance, no problems when you get it stock, supberb hop-up, can compete with any other gun on the field, and the list goes on and on. The only thing you should stay away from TM is the armalites(m4,sr-16,m16a1,m16a1, and m16 a1 vn) with the exception of S-system and m4v2.

So what are some of the problems with the TM's you mention above? Barrel wobble is the first one that comes to mind... Some people say they are too flimsy... Can't imagine they would have any more reliability problems than the rest of the TM line-up, but I can't shed the light of experience on this because I simply don't have any. One thing I can say is, in line with your comment, my M4 S system seems quite good, (first experience with the F#$%ing Trademark logos scratched off..) allbeit more expensive than the rest as well... Feel free to enlighten us with your experience.

I've got a TM M4 and I have had almost no problems with it.

i think he may have been suggesting that the TM armalites dont match up as well as ICS, or CA. I have had experience with TM M4s, and while they are a good gun, they dont feel as solid, and often times their selector switchs are kinda flimsy.

AMEN, my good friend Pysych ohas an M4 and he had to do some modifications to stop barrel wobble, and yea, the selector switch sucks, I had a TM M16A2 before, and don't want another one just because of the barrel wobble and the flimsyness.

Tm m4s are good if you have money, and are going to customize them. Both my custom CQBRs are tms. If your tight on money go for CA. Ive beat mine at irene and ever since, i say at least 20, 000 rounds and not a problem.
And boy does it have range
