how much fps will u lose if u put a foam filled silencer on ur gun?

um..... i dont think it looses any in all honesty. but someone correct me if im wrong on that one.

had a 14" supressor on my M-14 it only decreased FPS by about 10~15

ok so i dont anticipate getting a 14" silencer, maybe 150-200mm, im assuming the shorter the silencer the less it drops?

if u feel like spending extra money, lol. you can buy a tightbore barrel the same length as the outterbarrel attached to the sielencer and have the inner barrel run that entire length to avoid the fps drop and also add more accuracy due to the longer innerbarrel otherwise no silencer will decrease you fps so much as to need to worry about it lol. and im not exacly sure how that length of the silencer effects the fps but it makes sense the longer the silencer the more drop in fps there is but idk the entire logic behind foam filled silencers

Yes it will decrease FPS. At the same time running an inner barrel through the silencer will also decrease FPS on some guns due to the type of piston and reverse suction. But once again FPS isnt everything. A foam silencer will suppress the sound of the gun especially in the direction in which you are shooting. Compound that with proper hop up adjustment, good bbs, and a solid operator and who needs FPS?

buy a TM AUG? silent or wrap your moter or gear box in whats-it-called my M4 seems to gererate a sharper and a little higher pitched sound without the silencer that with. with the silencer on it makes a lower pitched pop but the moter is still a big noise source. when i invest alot into this gun, a silent motor grip is near the top of the list. im going for a US army green beret look and even going for the ACUs (against my better judgement) so i can have the same loadout as my uncle overseas. lol off topic
