How do you keep safe on the field? And no condom jokes!
Also if you feel like it, go further on why you choose to wear what you do.
Unless I'm absolutely forced to use full seal goggles I just use wiley X glasses.
It's not the safest to some standards, but I like it.
I personally prefer shooters. However I know there are some environments where that is not the safest option. I do have ESS low profile Turbo fans. I feel that shooters are the best for more open terrain. They are less likely to fog and you need to see the farthest in that type of environment. You also do not have to have as much awareness in terms of people sneaking up on you in more open fields since 99% of the time you know where the enemy is coming from. Places like the factory NEED full seal. There are so many ins and outs, you never know when someone is going to hit you from the side or from the back, and ricochets are more likely to occur.

Not an option in the poll, but I wear a full mask, due to a lost tooth and a $1,000 dental bill and I even have insurance. The mask is made for paintball by Dye, has very small holes to keep BB's out, and has a fan for eliminating fog.
If not rocking the mask, I do full seal goggles and a mouth piece.

shooters are probably the best for comfort, but you really regret not wearing goggles when you get shot in the eyebrow =[[

Im glad some of you out there have slapped a price tag on your eye sight and certain people feel that their eyeballs are worth a pair of jimmy rigged lab goggles. That sounds wonderful.

heres how it went for me. i first had a full paint ball mask wen we started with springers cuz i though it would hurt just as bad as paint ball, but it didnt with springers. then i cut out the mask and just used the goggles but the goggles from the mask were huge and i looked like a dork then i got crosman goggles, and then i just use sunglasses cuz we play woodland and it is hard to c through a scope while in a shaded area. so i started out with all protection for my face wen it didnt hurt and as the guns got better the face protection lessened. but if u get shot in the head it hurts but u get over it. we have pretty good aim not to shoot for the head

I got myself a nice pair of Guarders from UN company and they are my favorite glasses. They work great and look good too. I also have a pair of wiley x shooters from US cavalry that are really nice and work great but dont stay on my head when i sweat as well as the guarders.

Hey guys, I'm a totally newb and looking to get into the sport. Do any of you have suggestions for those of us with 4 eyes (glasses wearers)?
I have transition lens and change with UV light specifically. For instance, my car windshield has a UV coating and my lenses don't react.
Anything out there that would fit well?
Thanks.

have the same problem. If you've got the money, invest in some fan goggles. they should prevent both the goggles AND glasses from fogging.
