Gun won't stop firing!

At Dartmouth my gun jammed (Crossman bb's ftl..).. I ended up taking it apart and fixing the jam, but then it just kept firing, even when i let go of the trigger. So after a lot of taking apart and stuff (Btw it's an ICS M4, full stock) I realized that the connector plug is not resetting when you let go of the trigger. I'm not really an experienced airsmith, and it was my first time opening the lower gearbox, so I wouldn't know if I spring or part was missing or something. Any help is awesome

im guessing the spring had come off either the switch or the pole?

Yep! And I lost it, since I had to field strip the M4 (jammed) during last Dartmouth, during a game, trapped in a foxhole with Rambo. lol
