I just installed my guarder FTK and reassembled my TM sr-16. I pull the trigger and not a sound comes from my gun. The battery was partially charged so I figured it was a wiring or moto connection problem. Anyone know what it might be?
I think there might have been a thread about a wiring problem but i couldnt find it.
*Battery is on charger know

check your motor connections, they could be on the wrong sides

The red wire is in the positive terminal and the black wire is in the negative terminal. Whenever I put the plate on the wires pop out or something. The motor can run fine out of the grip.

get a pair of pliers and VERY lightly squeze the connectors a little bit so they are tighter on motor and make sure you really push them down.

Squeezed wires and pushed down on the wires. I pull the trigger and nothing. I am thinking that the wires are shorting out. What do you guys think?

you said that it worked when the motor is out of the grip so the wiring should be ok

if the motor works outside the grip then your wiring is fine. Put the motor back in and listen very closely. If you hear a click, like the gun is trying to turn over, then loosen the motor height adjustment. If you still get that click, then your gun is most likely shimmed too tight.
If it doesnt work outside the grip then get a new wire set.
