G&P doesn't do great work on their internals.... i'd go with a systema

+1, but in all honesty, it's not really necessary to blow all those yankee dollars on a Systema box. It may just be worth your while to get a new shell and have someone build it from scratch or using parts you have. If you are just buying it because you are not well versed in internals and want an upgrade, it will save you in the long run to have a local dude do it as you will also walk off with a set that's just as reliable.

well I need a new shell, new gearset, and a new spring... I just figured that it would be cheaper to just get a new box setup, that way when I need parts down the road, I have a spare gear box. I can get someone to do labor for free luckily. I don't know what I will do, luckily i have till monday to decide. lol

ask jabber about haynes box. You'd never need another gearbox

An MT Haynes Billet Box would be overkill considering he wants an M130. Also, the $250 price tag may put most off.

I agree with what Kurx said earlier, about building from scratch. I have a G&P, and since I've had it stock it's had two manufacture defects....and I've heard they have other problems. Now that it's upgraded it's fine along with the externals of course. A full Systema gear box may be a bit much, and a Haynes box is just unecessary. Build from the ground up.

haynes box am god.... they're never overkill... i mean, pay 500 for a complete gearbox once, never pay for parts again...

But if not, have an airsmith like jabber build one completely custom for ya

hey, i was going to put high speed gears in, how are g&p gears? Or would I be better to just put my used stock classic army gears? thanks

Systema gears are good, go for some of those. G&P gears....decent, but not as good. Listen to what matchgrade is saying, he's right.

alright, I think that im going with a classic army reinforced gearbox, an m130 spring, and im not sure which gear set is best for me, the stock ca gear set (which i already have) or getting somthing like ca highspeed gears or systema high speed gears. I am using a 9.6 volt battery. Which gears should i use. thanks
